STAR*NET Certified Training
SCCS will be hosting a "STAR*NET Certification" class for new and experienced STAR*NET users this June. This course will prepare you to use most aspects of STAR*NET. Attendees at this session will gain experience using converters, setting up a STAR*NET project, selecting or computing appropriate apriori values (Instrument Settings), will discuss field procedures and will practise a variety of troubleshooting techniques. Techniques will be practised using total station, RTK GPS, static GPS and leveling data but the principles learned will apply regardless of the type of sensor your organization uses.
Topics: This program will cover most aspects of using STAR*NET and will cover strategies and techniques for working with leveling data, conventional traverse data and GPS data. Pick here for a more detailed list of topics. Attendees who complete the course will be prepared to:
Prerequisites: Attendees will be required to have STAR*NET 8.2 Pro installed and registered on the computer being used to access training. Arrangements must be made in advance if partipants require a demo version of the software to complete all activities as the instructor is unable to issue passwords for this purpose.
