Notes on connecting to the Topcon ES Total Station

FieldGenius, Layout, Seismic Surveyor and Evidence Recorder can connect with the Topcon ES.

Please note that Rapid S EDM mode will not be available.

To prepare the Topcon, follow these steps:

1. Go to main screen, where the serial number is shown

2. Select F4 CNFG

3. select Comms Setup

4. select Bluetooth setup

5. Check that the configuration is as follows:

Mode: Slave

Authentication: Yes

Passkey:****

Check sum: No

ACK/NAK: No

CR,LF: No

ACK mode: Standard

 

In FieldGenius, select the Topcon make and Topcon ES model.  Select Bluetooth and connect.
