Connecting the CS20 to your desktop for cable data transfer

The majority of FieldGenius customers who have the CS20 Data Collector use a zip drive to copy files from the handheld devive to their PC.

But some users are more used to using a cable with other models of handheld collectors.  this is not as simple to set up, but if it's your preferred solution please see the two attached documents for instructions on how to configure your PC.

Please note that the FieldGenius installation or update does not require the arrangement shown about, the installation is distributed as a cab file which can simply be copied to the CS20 and launched.
