MicroSurvey Software Inc. is proud to announce the release of this latest version of FieldGenuis2012.

New Features for FieldGenius 2012 Version 6.0.4.2:

Important NOTE: GeoMax Users, do not download this version.  Please wait as we will be releasing a hot-fix for this shortly.  For now, please use versiom 6.0.3.5.  Do not install this version (6.0.4.2) as there is a fatal communication issue, and you will not be able to connect.

•    Many new features including:

  • Added support for more GNSS receivers,
  • Check Point Routine update - you will now remain in the routine after checking a point,
  • Pentax W800 total station driver improvements,
  • and much more.

•    New Coordinate Systems and Geoid Models:

  • Hungary Coordinate Systems,
  • OSGM02 Geoid model for Ireland is now available for download,
  • We also added subsets of EGM08 specifically cut out for Columbia, Mozambique, and Panama.  These are all available to download for free at our web site.

•     Many bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug related to the left/right buttons on the Staking Alignment toolbar.  
  • Fixed a bug where after you switched the project's units to feet and then pressed the Save As Default button, your project would still be in metres.  It now changes to feet.
  • Fixed a bug where closing the Staking toolbar when staking an alignment did not return you to the Stake Alignment dialog.  It now does.

Upgrade Cost?

This is a free upgrade to customers who already have a licensed version of FieldGenius 2012 Version 6.0.0 or higher.
