MicroSurvey Software Inc. is proud to announce the release of this latest version of FieldGenuis 2012.

New Features for FieldGenius 2012 Version 6.0.5.9:

•    Many new features including:

  • Shape file importer.
  • Bearing Recall, Math Operators, and quadrant codes returned (user forum request)
  • GeoMax Z25 GNSS driver support added
  • GeoMax Zoom80 Long Range Bluetooth support added
  • GeoMax Zoom35 total station support added
  • and much more.

•    New Coordinate Systems and Geoid Models:

  • Hungary Coordinate Systems approved by FOMI,
  • Fixed Japan Grid Shift file,
  • Added Wisconsin WISCRS2006 coordinate systems,
  • Added 21 new coordinate systems to assist working in CSRS,
  • We also added subsets of EGM08 specifically cut out for Chile, Lebanon, Uganda, Kenya, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Indonesia, and Myanmar.  These are all available to download for free at our web site.

•     Many bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug preventing Voice Notes from being played on Windows 7 machine.
  • Fixed a bug with the GeoMax Z10/20 and connecting to an external radio at a 19200 baud rate.
  • Fixed an issue with the FOIF OTS812L total station where no live angular information was displayed in the Observation tool bar.

This is a free upgrade to customers who already have a licensed version of FieldGenius 2012 Version 6.0.0 or higher.
