Status: Confirmed (v6.0.39)
Problem: MicroSurvey STAR*NET V6 is not fully compatible with the Windows Vista or Windows 7 operating systems.
Workaround: Users must have full administrator privileges in the STAR*NET 6 installation folder, and must run the program either with the Windows UAC features disabled or with elevated Administrator permissions granted on the StarNet.exe file or startup shortcut(s). At this time, it is not known if there are other issues besides user permissions.
Solution: The upcoming MicroSurvey STAR*NET V7 release will support the Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems.

Problem: MicroSurvey STAR*NET V6 does not work well with Limited (non-Administrator) User Accounts.
Workaround: Users must have full administrator privileges in the STAR*NET 6 installation folder, and must run the program either with the Windows UAC features disabled or with elevated Administrator permissions granted on the StarNet.exe file or startup shortcut(s).
Solution: The upcoming MicroSurvey STAR*NET V7 release will support Limited Users without having to grant additional permissions.
