Question
Can I define a custom paper size for printing?
Answer
Printer forms define a paper size and type used by a print device. Windows contains several predefined Forms for the most common paper sizes, but you can define a custom paper form as follows:
Windows XP
- Go to Start | Printers and Faxes.
- Click on "File | Server Properties".
- Click on the Forms tab.
- Turn on the "Create a new form" checkbox, then enter a name and the size and margin options as desired then press the "Save Form" button.
Windows Vista / Windows 7
- Go to Start | Devices and Printers
- Click once on your Printer (or PDF Driver) to highlight it, then click on "Print server properties" near the top of the window.
- Click on the Forms tab.
- Turn on the "Create a new form" checkbox, then enter a name and the size and margin options as desired then press the "Save Form" button.
