Connecting a Leica iCON Robot 50 to a Leica iCON CC51 using MicroSurvey Layout and Long Range Bluetooth

This guide describes how to connect a Leica iCON 50 robotic total station to a Leica CC51 data collector using MicroSurvey Layout and Long Range Bluetooth.

This guide actually describes 3 methods of connecting the iCON 50 to the CC51.  The first method uses the wireless Long Range Bluetooth connection.  The second method describes connecting using a Leica serial cable, and then we explain connecting using the short-range Bluetooth radios.

You will create an instrument profile and then set up your iCON 50 over a point, make a backsight observation, and then start measuring.
