Importing Conventional Data from Topcon or Sokkia Magnet Office

Magnet Office now has a STAR*NET Export tool

Open your project:

Pick Export from the Exchange Group:

Select "StarNet(*.dat) from the "Format Name" dialog:

Browse to your destination folder and enter a name. In this example we have selected "Topcon" from the code style but this option does not seem to have an effect:

• Users have reported that the results of this export tool are accurate, but require extensive edits before importing to STAR*NET because of a number of features that over constrain the adjustment to field calculated values. An online tool is available on our website which allows you to quickly make the three most commonly required changes to your file.
