Disappearing Model/Layout Tabs

Problem

In MSCAD 2005 or MapScenes 2006 my Model, Layout1, and Layout2 tabs sometimes disappear so I can not toggle back and forth between the different spaces. While I work with the drawing, or if I re-start MSCAD, they sometimes reappear but if I try to click on them it acts as if they are not there at all. How can I switch from Model to Layout if the tabs don't work?

Solution

At you command line, type "showtabs" then set it to "off". Then type "showtabs" again and set it to "on".

You should now see the Model and Layout tabs again.
