If you notice that tapping your touchscreen does not seem to correspond where the data collector detects the tap, then you can recalibrate the touchscreen which will bring it back in alignment with your taps. Please use the instructions below for your data collector, or find one that most closely resembles your data collector. Depending on how badly it needs to be recalibrated, follow the instructions for either using the touchscreen or the keypad.
MicroSurvey Tracker
Using your touchscreen tap along the bottom-left edge of the touchscreen to open your Windows start menu then tap on Settings then tap on Control Panel, or using the keypad press [ 2nd ] then [ W ] (for Windows Menu) then [ S ] (for Settings) then [ C ] (for Control Panel).
Using your touchscreen scroll down and double-tap‚ on the "Stylus" icon, or use‚ the [Shift ]-[ arrow ] keys (press Shift once before each arrow key) on the data collector's keypad to highlight the "Stylus" icon then press [ Enter ] to activate it.
Using your touchscreen tap on the Calibtration tab then tap on the Recalibrate button, or using your keypad press [ 2nd ]-[ Tab > ] then [ Shift ]-[ > ] then [ 2nd ]-[ Tab > ] then [ Enter ].
Then follow the instructions that appear on your screen to re-calibrate your touchscreen. Be sure to use a proper stylus (not your finger) to accurately calibrate the screen.

Using your touchscreen tap on the Start menu in the top-right corner of the touchscreen then tap on Settings, or using the keypad press [ the Windows logo button ] then use the [ down arrow ] repeatedly until Settings is highlighted then press [ Enter ].
Using your touchscreen tap on the "System" tab at the bottom of the screen then scroll down and tap on the "Screen" icon, or use the four arrow keys on keypad to switch to the "System" tab then highlight the "Screen" icon then press [ Enter ] to activate it.
Using your touchscreen tap on the "Align Screen" button, or use the four arrow keys on keypad to highlight the "System" tab at the bottom of the screen.
Using your touchscreen tap on the Calibtration tab then tap on the Recalibrate button, or using your keypad press [ Tab > ] then [ > ] then [ Tab > ] then [ Enter ].
