FieldGenius 4.0.4 Release Notes

This release contains mainly fixes for the Leica 1250 build of FieldGenius, and some important database fixes as well.  This is a recommended update for all FieldGenius 2008 customers.

Fixed

SmartWorxs Slow - After installing FieldGenius on a RX1250 controller, SmartWorxs would run slower than usual when storing points.  This is now resolved.  To correct the issue you need to reset your registry back to factory defaults.  To learn how to reset the registry on your RX1250 please review the RX1250 Registry Reset article.

After you have reset your device, you can install the FieldGenius 2008 4.0.4 version.

SmartWorxs Configuration Sets - FieldGenius will now create its own configuration set in SmartWorxs so that any user defined configuration sets will not be overwritten by FieldGenius.  Note that if you want to use your own configuration set after you've run FieldGenius, you have to manually select it the next time you run SmartWorxs.

Mount Point Crash - Trying to select a mount point for NTRIP connections could cause a crash. This is now fixed.

RX1250 Bluetooth - Trying to establish Bluetooth connections from FieldGenius running on an RX1250 controller wasn't working.  Simply select Bluetooth as the connection port in FieldGenius, and FieldGenius will now automatically display devices available for connection.

Coordinate Database Sorting - Sorting coordinate data in the Database Viewer would cause a crash.

Survey Role - The survey role for points was not being stored correctly.
