Use a Template file to standardize CAD File Settings

  • Drawing Settings, imported with the template, control the way the CAD side of your program works.

Settings for your current drawing can be reviewed or configured in Tools > Drawing Settings:

Pre-loaded drawing elements can be viewed in IntelliCAD Explorer

These elements are saved with your drawing and are imported from the template when you create a new project.

If you open a drawing from a client or a different user all their settings will be saved with your project.

Select a template to be applied to new drawings in the MicroSurvey Project Manager or Start Page:

Further Information:

  • By default templates are assigned the extension ".dwt"
  • The program will use the last assigned template by default when you create a new drawing

Templates are normally located in:

C:\Users\"user"\Documents\MicroSurvey\Templates

or

C:\Users\"user"\OneDrive\Documents\MicroSurvey\Templates
