The following are frequently asked questions and answers from new embeddedCAD users...

Q) What CAD engine does MicroSurvey embeddedCAD 2012 use?

A) MicroSurvey embeddedCAD is powered with Autodesk TechnologyTM.  We use AutoCAD® OEM 2012 to provide maximum compatibility between MicroSurvey embeddedCAD and AutoCAD software, including the latest DWGTM file support.

Q) Do I need to own an AutoCAD license?

A) Not at all!  MicroSurvey embeddedCAD is an all-in-one package which includes both the underlying CAD engine plus the survey, design, and modeling commands.  However, if you do own an AutoCAD license you may be interested in our MicroSurvey inCAD product, which is an add-on for your AutoCAD software.

Q) What operating systems are supported?
