In this article, we will be turning a drawing into a block, then inserting it into a new drawing. Users may wish to do this if they are running into trouble with their drawing and would like to reset it into a new default drawing to clear some settings that may have become corrupted.
- Open your drawing and run the AUDIT command, then select Yes to fix any issues. (This is to make sure your drawing is clear of any errors)
- Run the WBLOCK command, select Entire drawing and choose a location to save it
- Create a new drawing and save it wherever you wish
- Run the INSERT command, browse to your block that you created earlier, check on only Explode and Uniform Scale, an select Insert
