FILEDIA variable prevents Display of Dialogs when performing CAD operations

The variable FILEDIA is stored on your system and can sometimes be changed so that MicroSurvey CAD displays unexpected behaviors.  The most common symptom our support team hears about is that the user has performed a "SAVE AS..." operation and the following occurs:

This is easy to fix:

Type FILEDIA in the command line

Enter

Type ON

Close and reopen MSCAD
