You can perform a silent or unattended installation of your MicroSurvey product, for mass-deployment within your organization without having to click through all the dialogs. Below is a screenshot showing how you can do this from a temp directory. Note that if the executable file has any spaces in the name that it should be contained in quotes:
Note: In all cases, third-party components may not honour the switches to install silently but they are always unattended.
MicroSurvey CAD 2013 (SP2 or newer, only):
A silent/unattended installation can be performed using the following commandline switches:
installfilename.exe /exenoui /qn BUILDLEVEL=Basic|Standard|Premium|Ultimate|Studio
where BUILDLEVEL must be set to the desired product level.
Note: A silent/unattended installation cannot be performed with any previous versions of MicroSurvey CAD, it will result in an incomplete installation that cannot be run.
MicroSurvey Point Prep 2013, MicroSurvey Data Exchange 2012, MicroSurvey STAR*NET 7, MapScenes Forensic CAD 2013:
A silent/unattended installation has not been tested, but should work using the following commandline switches:
installfilename.exe /exenoui /qn
MicroSurvey CAD 2016 and Newer:
A silent/unattended installation has not been tested, but should work using the following commandline switches:
installfilename.exe /quiet /norestart
MicroSurvey inCAD 2013 for AutoCAD:
A silent/unattended installation has not been tested, but may work using the following commandline switches:
installfilename.exe /exenoui /qn APPDIR="C:\Program Files\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2013"
where APPDIR must be set to the installation folder of your compatible AutoCAD product, enclosed by quotation marks.
MicroSurvey embeddedCAD 2013:
A silent/unattended installation cannot be performed.
