Windows 10 Requires that Network Discovery be on in order to browse to mapped drives on your Network

Users have reported that when they install MicroSurvey CAD or embeddedCAD 2016 on a Windows 10 computer that they can't open files that are stored on network drives.  This is because of a new security feature in Windows 10.

To resolve this problem:

• Pick the Windows Start button
• Pick Settings
• Pick "Network and Internet"
• Ethernet
• Change Advanced Sharing Settings
• Turn on Network Discovery

• Run the program BUT BE SURE THAT YOU ARE NOT "Running as Administrator" OR THAT YOU HAVE NOT CONFIGURED YOUR SHORTCUT TO DO SO BY DEFAULT.
• Now you should be able to your networked drives when using File | Open or "Browse for Drawing" in the Project Manager
